The radio/podcast series ‘Kristian Leth and The Outsider’ (‘Kristian Leth og Outsideren’) made for DR P2 by Leth, focusing on pianist Glenn Gould won the Prix Italia for best Music Documentary in 2017.
The series is a sweeping and adventurous exploration of the genius of Gould and his work on Bach’s Goldberg Variations. The jury called the program “a luxury product – a radiophonic pearl. It is ambitious, well researched and captivating. It sounds difficult, but that’s Leth.”
